Hi my name is Ray from England.
Apologies for I do not speak russian but I am after information about the Caldina's and this is the biggest forum I can find on the internet.
We do not have Caldina's in the UK so finding information is nearly impossible.
I am using google translate and I just about managed to sign up and navigate here.

My Questions:

I have a generation 3 3SGTE engine. But the problem is the weak block around the water channel near cyliner 1 which keeps cracking when highly modified.
I want to know from Caldina owners, if the engine block from ST215 and ST246 is any stronger and which is the strongest to modify for over 600hp?
Secondly, which caldina has the strongest gearbox and rear differentials?

I hope some one who undersands English can help me?

Ray, i think you should try to write yor letter about the "weakness" of block to toyota motor Co, in Japan. They can (50/50) answer your qwestion about materials which used in blocks 3S-GTE.
Sometimes they (Toyota) happen to be a quite sympathetic in answering letters.

There is some writings that 2nd gen of 3S-GTE is the most strongest of any blocks. Pay attention to messages from user Dimann - his phone # - (025)9914111 (resp. Belarus).

Thank you Bone.

Yes the 2nd Gen is known to be thicker and stronger then the 3rd Gen but then the 4th Gen is also suppose to be stronger then the 3rd Gen but with more beneficial features hence making it a more favourable choice.
Though the 2nd Gen has thicker walls, there had been many reports of the block cracking around 400-500 too which and with the news of the newer alloy being used on the 4th Gen makes it sound more promissing.
I think I will go down the path of buying a 4th gen bottom end with a 3rd gen top end.
I just need to find one and have it shipped to the UK now.

superray23k, and can you bring caldinu directly from Japan? under what scheme you do it?

region19 - Yes I can. But I am not in the market for looking to import a Caldina. I only want the engine for my GT-Four upgrade. So I will try to buy one from either Malaysia or Russia maybe? I am still looking for one. Of course shipping a pallet is cheaper from Russia becasue it's closer to the UK.
However if I was to get a new car in future I would definately consider importing a Caldina from Japan. Its easy since its already right hand drive and only requires a few changes in the light to meet UK standards.
